Jinan government released 25 measures on April 11 to alleviate enterprises' burdens and to help them cope with operation difficulties brought by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The policies are meant to bolster enterprises by alleviating their financial burdens, better matching supply and demand, and optimizing government services.

Enterprises can request a reduction in the proportion of their housing accumulation fund deposit or a payment delay, and then restore the proportion of their housing accumulation fund deposit and pay it in full once their business conditions improve.

Businesses affected by the epidemic that are having trouble paying their water and gas bills can apply to the suppliers for a payment extension of up to two months.

In 2022, small and micro enterprises, as well as individual businesses involved in the service sector in districts which are affected by severe epidemic, will be free from paying rent for six months. Rent will be waived for three months in other regions of the city.

Vehicle transport licenses for epidemic prevention and control materials and daily necessities can be applied for online.
