The Lixia area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, which is located in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, has achieved fruitful results in improving its business environment and boosting industrial innovation through reform and opening-up over the past two years, Dazhong Daily reported.
From its establishment in September 2019 to March 2022, the area had 3,890 newly registered enterprises, including 1,108 specializing in retail sales, 791 in commercial services, 402 in information transmission, software and information technology services, 265 in culture, sports and entertainment, and 309 in scientific research and technological services.
Thanks to the advanced business environment, the Lixia FTZ has developed a number of advantageous industries, including cellular technology, cultural exports, inclusive finance, industrial digitalization and 5G technology.
To date, the area has been comprehensively delegated with provincial-level administrative approval power for more than 160 items. The local administration has also set up an online administrative approval platform and adopted a more flexible administrative mechanism to improve efficiency.
A one-stop whole-process foreign trade service mechanism offers a variety of agent services and training, as well as an online and offline marketing platform for foreign trade companies.
