The smart medical acceleration park in the Economic Development Zone of Jinan's Lixia district has been selected as one of Shandong's eight provincial-level future industry acceleration parks for 2026, highlighting the city's growing strength in cultivating emerging industries.

Focused on the future healthcare sector, the park has established itself as a key platform for integrating artificial intelligence with healthcare. Its development priorities include AI-assisted diagnosis, smart medical devices, digital therapeutics, precision medicine, and advanced cell and gene therapies, supporting the digital transformation of healthcare services.

The park has rapidly built a vibrant industrial ecosystem. More than 60 enterprises have established a presence there, including five listed companies, 10 high-tech enterprises, six gazelle companies and eight specialized and sophisticated SMEs. Five investment and financing institutions also operate within the park, providing strong financial support for innovation and business growth.

To strengthen its innovation capacity, the park has developed 26 innovation platforms, including incubators for future industries, key laboratories, engineering research centers, pilot testing facilities, and enterprise technology centers. Together, these resources are helping accelerate the commercialization of new technologies and the growth of future-oriented healthcare industries.
