H3C Group, a leading company in China's information and communications technology sector, will establish an artificial intelligence research institute in Lixia district, Jinan, marking the company's first large-scale AI R&D hub in northern China.

The institute is positioned as a key pillar of H3C's long-term AI strategy. It will focus on core technologies such as chip adaptation, liquid cooling, heterogeneous computing scheduling, and large-model algorithms, while integrating hardware and software solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability.

The project will also promote collaboration with local enterprises, universities, and research institutions, aiming to advance technological innovation, cultivate talent and accelerate the commercialization of research outcomes.

With more than two decades of presence in Shandong, H3C has developed a broad service network spanning government, education, healthcare, and finance. The new institute is expected to further support the region's digital transformation and strengthen Jinan's role in advancing the digital economy.
