Jinan Central Business District (CBD) recently received the smart governance innovation award from the China CBD Alliance in recognition of its use of digital technologies to improve urban management and public services.

The award was presented at the 2026 Beijing CBD Forum Annual Conference, held from June 15 to 17, which brought together industry representatives to discuss the future of central business districts and urban development.

In recent years, Jinan CBD has integrated intelligent technologies into day-to-day governance, streamlining city management and enhancing public services. Alongside smart governance, it has pursued people-centered planning to create a mixed-use urban hub that brings together business, housing, employment, and tourism. This latest recognition highlights its efforts to build a smarter, more livable, and dynamic city center.
