Lixia district of Jinan, Shandong province, showcased its industrial strengths and investment opportunities while seeking new partnerships at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, Fujian.

The district hosted a high-quality development exchange event on Sept 9 during the fair, bringing together government representatives, industry groups, and businesses to explore potential cooperation. Lixia also partnered with Dong'e county in Liaocheng, Shandong, for cross-regional investment promotion.

At the event, Lixia highlighted the industrial advantages, resources, and development prospects of Lixia Economic Development Zone. Representatives from Jinan Industrial Development Investment Group, Lishan Health and Wellness, and Liandong group shared their respective experiences in international trade park operations, biopharmaceutical cluster development, and urban industrial innovation.

The discussions focused on project implementation and resource coordination, with several preliminary cooperation agreements reached.

Ahead of the event, a Lixia investment delegation visited Ropeok technology park and Liando U Valley industrial park in Xiamen. The delegation studied the operation of established industrial parks and gained insights into business needs, laying the groundwork for more targeted investment matchmaking at the exchange.
