Over 30 PhD candidates from universities in Hong Kong and Macao, such as the City University of Hong Kong and Macau University of Science and Technology, visited Jinan's Lixia district on June 20.

They experienced the district's urban development, cultural heritage, industrial growth, and talent environment. The visit was part of the Lixia sub-event for the second "Haiyou Talent Festival" in Jinan.

The group toured key locations such as the Technology Finance Building, Jinan Central Business District planning exhibition hall, and the Jinan CBD Park of the Shandong Jinan Human Resources Service Industrial Park.

They also explored venues such as the exhibition hall of the Technological Innovation Financial Reform Pilot Zone to gain insights into Lixia's tech innovation and urban planning.

The visitors also learned about Lixia district's work on postdoctoral talent work and support policies in recent years.

During the promotional exchange session, both in-person discussions and online live broadcasts were conducted with five enterprises featuring postdoctoral stations, including the Shandong Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration and China Railway 14th Bureau Group Corporation Limited. The enterprises promoted their stations, job openings, and benefits.

An in-person discussion session was also held where representatives from 17 units featuring postdoctoral stations in Lixia district, including Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and Shandong University of Finance and Economic, gathered to discuss development opportunities with visitors.
