Lixia district of Jinan has been using innovative means to improve the quality and efficiency of its government services since the beginning of this year.
Efforts have been made to streamline the 'last kilometer' of convenience services, optimize the government environment, and promote the continuous improvement of administrative services.
For example, Quanchenglu subdistrict, covering an area of 1.85 square kilometers, has taken the lead in promoting grassroots social grid governance.
The subdistrict has independently developed an information service platform known as "Smart Quancheng", using digital means to enhance social management.
In response to the aging population within the subdistrict, it has, in conjunction with the platform, initiated a new model of smart elderly care services, establishing a seven-minute service circle to provide efficient and high-quality home care services for the elderly.
In addition, the subdistrict has granted over 300 delivery personnel access to the street's social governance command system, enabling them to report incidents swiftly.
They reported over 300 issues in 2023, showing the eagerness of new employment groups to participate in grassroots governance.
