The Yuhe Museum, a cultural creative space, opened at Daming Lake on Sept 14.
The museum takes inspiration from the fictional character Xia Yuhe. Above its entrance, an installation shows Xia Yuhe as a serene maiden by the lake, adorned with hairpins and lotus flowers, resting in quiet repose.
Xia Yuhe is a character from the famous TV drama My Fair Princess created by Chinese romance novelist and screenwriter Qiong Yao.
The museum features seven themed zones showcasing Xia Yuhe-inspired cultural and creative products, including lamps, hair accessories, jewelry, and fridge magnets, while also highlighting the distinctive culture of Jinan.
Beyond exhibitions, visitors can enjoy coffee, craft beer, local delicacies, and international flavors at surrounding amenities.
At night, the museum will be illuminated along with Chaoran Tower and the Xia Yuhe installation, creating a striking nighttime scene.
The museum is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm.
