Lixia district in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, is building a three-level public service system, namely, the district level, the subdistrict level and the community level, which has received a heartfelt welcome from the public.

To meet the demands of the public, Lixia has built the provincial-level medical insurance service windows. The service hall is equipped with a service window area, a self-service area and a waiting area. Articles for daily use, including phone chargers and umbrellas are available to people free of charge. The service windows provide multiple services, so people can take care of multiple requests to save time.

By utilizing the subdistrict service center, Lixia district healthcare security bureau has built medical insurance workstations on each subdistrict to facilitate residents' medical insurance payments, personal account inquiries and remote filings.

Furthermore, Lixia district healthcare security bureau has also established 13 medical insurance workstations in designated medical institutions. Among them, two workstations were established in human resource companies, the first of its kind in the city.

To provide better services, Lixia district healthcare security bureau has carried out service training and enforced supervision and assessment of its employees. Activities have been carried out to promote the electronic certification of medical insurance and to prevent fraudulent practices.
