Jinan's Lixia district and Jinan Central Business District (CBD) were awarded the "top 10 vigorous districts for building economics in China 2023" and "top 10 most vibrant CBDs 2023" titles respectively at the 7th China Building Economic Summit held in Jinan from Nov 21 to 23.

The summit brought together hundreds of guests, industry associations, and representatives from well-known companies from 18 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chongqing.

The Jinan CBD is a regional economic and financial center that has a free trade experimental zone and a science and technology innovation financial reform experimental zone.

There are currently more than 6,500 companies in the 3.2 square-kilometer business district. There has been an average monthly increase of over 200 new companies this year.

Five super-high buildings serve as the backbone of the CBD's development, while high-quality enterprises, including the headquarters of four major legal financial institutions, more than 40 provincial-level financial institutions, and over 200 types of headquarters provide strong development momentum for the area.

Since the beginning of this year, a large number of local SOEs' headquarters, including Shandong Finance Group, Shandong Caixin Asset Management Co, and Jinan Jinkong, have relocated and settled in the CBD.
