The premiere of Fantasy Home and the signing ceremony for the first group of enterprises at Lishan Audio-Visual Industry Base was held at Shandong Hotel in Jinan on Aug 22, marking a milestone for the cultural industry in Lixia district.

The movie Fantasy Home brings Jinan to life, featuring the shimmering Daming Lake, buzzing Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural Block and glowing Chaoran Tower.

Building on the film's popularity, Lixia district has developed tourist routes linking its filming locations, allowing visitors to explore the movie backdrops and savor local delicacies like Bazirou Pork, making for an immersive cultural and culinary experience.

The 100,000-square-meter Lishan Audio-Visual Industry Base in Lixia district, comprising the headquarters, Central Business District (CBD) base and Mingfucheng base, serves as a hub for the online audiovisual industry.

The headquarters centers on the audiovisual sector, attracting high-quality enterprises across the industrial chain and providing comprehensive administrative services.

Leveraging the resources of the CBD, the CBD base offers a full-process digital production space, from shooting and sound recording to post-production and digital processing. The MingfuCheng base, with abundant traditional culture and historical scenery, provides diverse shooting locations in Mingfucheng Historic Area.

With a strategic location, comprehensive infrastructure and a favorable business environment, Lixia has attracted a number of cultural enterprises. In the first half of 2025, 203 cultural enterprises above designated threshold in the district generated 30.58 billion yuan ($4.27 billion) in output, accounting for 45.4 percent of the city's total. By prioritizing the cultural industry, Lixia has fostered cultural vitality and high-quality development.
