The general public budget revenue in Lixia district, Jinan reached 15.16 billion yuan ($2.35 billion), an increase of 3.1 percent year-on-year, local media reported.

The district's comprehensive economic strength continued to be in the forefront of Shandong province in 2020. Last year, the district government made great efforts in promoting economic and social development.

In 2020, local authorities had remitted 48.48 million yuan in rent, as well as provided 37.15 million yuan in financial subsidies for small and medium enterprises. A total of 8.15 billion yuan was raised for 240 enterprises.

Lixia is focusing on developing its financial business, artificial intelligence, and healthcare industries. The district currently is home to 49 headquarter enterprises, accounting for 27 percent of the city's total, and is playing a key role in promoting Jinan's high-quality development. Last year, a total of 507 projects were launched, of which 107 of them had an investment of more than 100 million yuan.
