On Jan 20, Jinan Central Business District (CBD) welcomed over 150 entrepreneurs for a Chinese New Year gathering aimed at fostering collaboration and strengthening business ties. The event featured vibrant performances and was aimed at engaging local businesses and employees from the district's parks and buildings.

Local government officials from Jinan, Lixia district, and Jinan CBD attended the event, engaging in discussions and listening to feedback from the business community while enjoying the cultural performances.

In 2024, Jinan CBD achieved several significant milestones, completing 3.65 million square meters of commercial and business spaces and attracting eight Global Fortune 500 companies. By year-end, a total of 36 Global Fortune 500 enterprises were operating in the district, alongside 224 regional headquarters and 213 financial institutions. The district is also set to generate an estimated 12 billion yuan ($1.68 billion) in tax revenue.

In recognition of its achievements, Jinan CBD was named among the "Top 20 Business Districts in China" as well as among the "Most Consumer-Vibrant" areas and a "Modern Service Industry Cluster Area" in Shandong province.

Looking ahead, Jinan CBD plans to focus on enhancing its projects, seeking to attract top-tier businesses, improve management, and foster a robust business ecosystem. The district will continue to innovate, fostering synergies between industries to promote growth and development.
