On June 11, the second edition of the Hong Kong and Macao PhDs in Jinan event and the Explore Lixia Postdoctoral Exchange were successfully held in Lixia district, Jinan, as part of the third Haiyou Talent Festival.

Nearly 30 PhD students from Hong Kong and Macao participated alongside representatives from five postdoctoral workstations, including Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University and the Shandong Water Resources Research Institute. The program featured city introductions, policy briefings, the sharing of experiences, and site visits—creating a vibrant platform for mutual exchange between talent and the city.

Lixia district leaders presented the area's ecological strengths, industrial foundation, and welcoming environment for talent. A promotional film on Jinan's youth talent policies and a detailed guide to 29 local postdoctoral institutions were also shared to support targeted talent matching.

Participants visited Jinan Central Hospital's Emergency Center and the Lishan International Cell Medicine Industrial Park, where they gained firsthand insight into Lixia's cutting-edge biomedical infrastructure and its strong foundation in innovation and talent development.
